The label may say beard oil, but our formula has a variety of uses which makes it an ultimate grooming essential. When selecting our ingredients we made sure they were suitable for hair and skin, and in doing so we balanced an oil that is adaptable in your daily grooming routine. So in saying that, let’s look at the multiple ways you can use our beard oil and why.
USE IN YOUR BEARD – 4 TO 10+ DROPS
Our beard oil formula uses rich ingredients like Argan and Jojoba oil, balanced out perfectly to act lightweight while delivering a non-greasy and fast absorbing feel. This makes it the perfect oil for the beard as it doesn’t just sit there and not absorb. A focus on using the right types of oils (oils vary in viscosity/density and can either improve or hinder the formula), and using pure to botanical essential oils correctly, leaves you with a soft beard and healthy skin promoting growing conditions.
USE ON YOUR SCALP TO FIGHT DANDRUFF – 4 TO 6 DROPS.
Jojoba oil makes for the perfect oil to fight dandruff as it protects the skin by creating a barrier that replicates the skins natural sebum production. Rubbing several drops into the scalp after a shower and drying the hair will help eliminate dandruff swiftly. Using stimulating and anti-inflammatory ingredients, such as Peppermint and Australian Sandalwood essential oil in our Man Mint Beard Oil blend, will heal the skin and provide balance.
FIGHT DRY FACE SKIN – 2 TO 3 DROPS.
If you suffer from really dry skin on the face, use our oil on your face 1-2 times a week after a shower to rebalance the skins natural oil stores. Our blend won’t clog the pores due to using ingredients that are non-comedogenic, which replicates the skins natural sebum production. All blends are safe as leave on products and have been tested to meet the European Cosmetic directive. We also made sure none of the essential oils we use cause photosensitivity or phytotoxicity so you won’t have a problem in the sun.
An example of an oil that causes problems for the skin when exposed to sunlight is lemon essential oil, which we don’t use, as it makes your skin sensitive. We choose oils such as lemongrass as an alternative which doesn’t hold the same properties but provides a citrus feel.
Our top recommendation for all skin types is Morning Wood Beard Oil due to having very calming oils such as Cedarwood, Pine, Patchouli and Australian Sandalwood. These oils are the perfect anti-inflammatory oils and help keep the pores clean. Alternatively, The Original Beard Oil is ideal as it has no scent and might work for those who might be worried about skin sensitivity and essential oils.
BUSTED CUTICLES AND HANDS – 2-5 DROPS
Heavy lifting and bad habits leaving your hands busted? As men, we really don’t care for our hands. A few drops of oil on hands will leave your damaged cuticles, where skin flakes and peels off, looking their best. The oil will also treat dryness and calluses caused from training or lifting.
STRETCHMARKS AND BODY OIL – 4-8 DROPS
If you’re fighting stretch marks from training and they’re fresh, try our Orange Geranium Beard Oil which has Geranium and Patchouli in it. Geranium increases collagen/elastin fibres and Patchouli is known for repairing damaged tissue, making it the perfect body oil along with Almond, Argan and Jojoba oil!
